Participation of the AiEM research group in the research project “System for the energy rehabilitation of obsolete facade enclosures, capable of mitigating the heat island effect in urban spaces. SATE_VEG”.

The project consists of the development of an ETICS system – external thermal insulation composite system – with a plant finish, which does not require the incorporation of irrigation pipes. The proposed technology improves the thermal properties of the facade envelope, reducing the building’s energy consumption and mitigating the heat island effect in the exterior space near the rehabilitated facade.
